Shipping policy
It is important an authorised person is available at the time of delivery to receive the products at the day designated for the delivery. An estimated time will be given of approximately 4 hours. All of our orders are delivered during business hours. There should be sufficient space at the time of delivery for the furniture.
Upon arrival of your package, please note any damage to the box as well as any damage to the item itself. It is important that you notify us of any damage due to transit as soon as possible after receipt of the item (e.g. within 48 hours), as any damage to the item after delivery will not be covered and may complicate your claim for in-transit damage. We will deal with items damaged in transit in accordance with the “Damaged or faulty returns” section below. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all other liability in respect of items damaged in transit.
We will not be liable to you for any unforeseeable loss, damage or expense you suffer which arises directly or indirectly from any delay in delivery of the goods which arises from circumstances outside of our control.
Delivery may take up to 6 - 21 business days however, you will be advised as soon as your goods are ready for delivery. Our delivery team will aim to contact you 24-48 hours before the date of delivery.
Delivery charges
After selecting your preferred size/colour of the product that you wish to buy, you can calculate a shipping estimate by simply adding the items to your cart before selecting the “Estimate Delivery” button. We organise free delivery which is a complementary service for purchase over $1,500 where offered, and applies only within a radios of 20 km from our store location.
For customer outside the limited free delivery areas; the final postage cost for your order can be viewed during checkout and may change depending on additional items that you have added to your cart. We use couriers that are both convenient and cost-effective which is why we can offer competitive shipping rates. We offer Australia wide coverage for all our Furniture products. To easily calculate your delivery, simply enter your postcode at checkout.
Free Delivery
Free shipping/delivery is available only on selected products to selected areas. To check if you qualify for free shipping, simply enter your postcode into the postcode field on the checkout page. Further postcode exclusions may apply depending on the selected product and in some cases may be limited to Adelaide metro areas. Free shipping offers are for a limited time and are subject to change at any time.
Delivery Time
We work together with a few selected logistics partners. Depending on the size and weight of the furniture item you’re buying and your location, you may have different delivery options to choose from. In order to view all delivery options available for your location, fees and the delivery time, please place the desired items in your cart and enter your state and postcode. We’ve outlined the delivery options below, as well as the approximate transit times for each state.
Delivery Process
Based on your delivery address and the size and weight of your order, if your order is coming with one of third party couriers, we will send you an email once we have dispatched it. This email will tell you the name of the courier and the tracking number, so you can stay updated all the way.
For the goods to be delivered it is necessary for someone to be available to accept delivery as we require a signature as proof of receipt. A second attempt delivery may be chargeable to (free delivery customers).
The courier will contact you before the delivery to propose a delivery date and time frame, and give you the option to reschedule this if it’s not convenient. If you’re not at home at the agreed time, your item will be returned to their warehouse, and a card will be left at your door. We can arrange re-delivery but this might incur an extra delivery cost at the rate originally paid. A second attempt delivery will be chargeable to (free delivery customers).
Missed Deliveries
If a delivery date has been arranged with you in advance but you are not able to accept the delivery when the delivery team arrive, we might need to charge you a re-delivery fee. Our Customer Experience Team will reach out to you before the delivery is reattempted. Please note that Sparkle Place does not take responsibility for any incorrect or incomplete order details including but limited to delivery address, contact details or email given upon purchase and the subsequent failure of delivery as a result.
Changing Delivery Address
To change your delivery address, please contact our customer care team, via sales@sparkleplace.com.au we’ll confirm all the details and any change in delivery fee if applicable. You can do this at any time up until 24 hours before we dispatch your items for delivery from our Warehouse. If your items have already been dispatched and delivery has been attempted, you will be charged for arranging re-delivery.
Cancellation of Orders
A customer may cancel the order made within 24 hours of placing an order, except for custom made items. To make a cancellation, you must notify us of the cancellation either by calling our customer services department or by e-mailing or by writing before the accepted timescale has passed, to:
Should you change your mind about a purchase you have made with us, you have the option of cancelling for a refund within 24 hours of placing the order. Change on mind refunds/return on items after 24 hours of placing an order, will attract 25% of restocking fee on total purchase price of the product. If the item has been dispatched, cancelling your order for the items sold from stock (excludes Lay-by, customised, sale and items in back order) will result in you receiving a credit note for the cost of your product only, as you will be liable for any logistic and delivery costs incurred.
